I suggest using a heating pad. If you use the lamp, my question is how warm is your house at night? If your house stays above 75, I would suggest turning the light off at night to give them a night time. Turn it on again in the morning.

Leos need warmth on their abdomens in order to digest their food properly. No overhead bulbs at all. You need an under tank heater--it sticks to the bottom of the tank. You apply it to one side. You can plug it into a dimmer switch to adjust the temperature, or you can use carpet or tile to disperse the heat. The dry hide and moist hide need to be over the heat. Another dry hide needs to be on the cool end. They are nightime creatures, and do not bask in the sun. When they come out at night, they soak up heat through the ground which has been warmed during the day. Your Leo will be very stressed with lights. Get a digital indoor/outdoor probe thermometer and set it on 'outside'. Tape the probe to the floor of the warm side, inside the tank. The temp should be between 88-91F.

Your gecko should NEVER have a daytime bulb on him. Don't use a heat pad either, if the gecko digs under the sand he could get burned. Go to a different petstore and get a nighttime bulb that is 50w or lower. Keep it on for 12 hours out of every 24- it doesn't really matter if you keep it on day or night, just as long as it's consistent. The other half of the day, let your gecko cool down to room temperature. This natural heat/cool cycle is important for reptiles. Geckos do NOT like any sort of bright light, so turn off that day bulb immediately!
