Hi there,
My husband and I will be actively trying to conceive this month. I have stopped using retin-A, but I'm wondering if my husband needs to also stop using it. If you have any suggestions or advice, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure I could call my dermatologist tomorrow, but I wondered if anyone out there has had this experience before.

It has been shown to cause sperm abnormalities in men as well as problems with a growing fetus. However, the studies that have been done were small so their outcomes can be misleading. Many doctors will tell you it is fine if you both continue, however, since there is no hardcore definant answer on this you should probably both avoid it for now.
