At times yes it does. But you just have to learn to ignore it and not let it get you down or it will only get you down further and further into the dumps until you have nowhere else to go. You need to climb your way back out of the hole you have dug for yourself, fill in the hole and insist on digging the hole again. The world is not mocking or ignoring you. It is just your imagination, I am sorry for putting it so bluntly, but it is you feeling sorry for yourself, so you feel that it is mocking and ignoring you. Be more cheerful, even if you aren't all that cheerful, convince yourself you are more happy than you really are and that the world isn't out to get you and that you are happy the way you are, you'll feel much happier and you won't feel that way as much. Again, I am sorry for putting it so bluntly.
