It is certainly possible - it's just not recommended to try catching the bullet in your mouth after it's been shot from a firearm.
The way I'd recommend you do it is to first practice with peanuts - toss the peanut up in the air and catch it in your mouth.
When you are good with peanuts, you could try other small items.
When you are good with this - toss a bullet up in the air and catch it in your mouth. Voila!
For the more impressive "Bullet Catch" magic trick - you might do well to refer to the wiki page below. It is done by sleight of hand and not at all by catching a high velocity projectile in the magician's mouth.

It's not hard to catch a bullet in your mouth if you first throw the bullet up in the air, and catch it on its way down.

If it's shot from a gun then its probably going at a speed of several hundred feet per second. It's likely to break your teeth, go through fleshy things like the tongue, smash into the neck bone, passing through the spinal cord and disconnecting your brain from the signals from the rest of your body. You are unlikely to live for more than a few seconds after that, and those few seconds will be very unpleasant indeed!
