do women really cheat?

i have been married for 15 yrs.we are both entering our 40's. do women in the situation of my wife start thinking or seeking out other men a this point? how common is it for women 40+ years to cheat?

It totally depends on the woman. I know a lot of very happily married women. I am not in my 40s but have been married for 8 years. If the marriage is healthy and both partners are happy and are focused on keeping their relationship strong, then they won't seek others for sex. Marriages that are not healthy and one or both of the partners are uninterested in putting 100% into it, the relationship will struggle. Marriage is not easy, and it does take work. It is a lifetime commitment. I would never even THINK about being with another man. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for my husband and he feels the same for me.

I don't believe you can put an age stamp on anyone for cheating. People do it for many reasons, but the most common one is they aren't happy with some aspect of their current marriage, relationship, whatever. Keep things open. If you sense a problem, TALK about it. Get her to open up. 15 yrs. is a long time out of your lives. It's worth it to make every effort to not lose what you have.

I wouldn't put every 40+ woman in this category, but in my life I have noticed women around this age begin to feel old and need to be reassured of their youth and beauty. Sadly, they look elsewhere for this. If I were you i would just pay more attention to how she is feeling, give her compliments, do sweet little things for her. Just show her that you appreciate her and that you love her more than ever. Be very affectionate! If you are giving her what she needs emotionally and romantically, than there is no reason for her to look outside of the marriage.

Honestly, this really depends on the woman. Most woman seek commitment, love, etc. so the likelyness of a woman who has those things to cheat is pretty unlikely, but it is true that women cheat too. I think you are fine though. Good luck :-)

Age is not a factor. Allot of people cheat period. Both sex's have they're fair share of cheaters. I would not naturally assume that because a woman is turning 40 that she is going to cheat, no.

Yes, women cheat just as often as men but usually for different reasons. Women in thier 40's start to have a higher sexual drive and may be more likely to set up "booty calls" than in thier youth. Later in life it is for gratification moreso than emotional connection but sometimes emotional connections grow from these booty calls.

Women cheat for other reason's than men. Men cheat to have sex women cheat cause they need attention and are not getting it at home. Will your wife cheat? If she is happy and you are treating her right then no she want. True love is hard to find and even harder to find twice.
