I think they usually have a negative attitude towards life, and even though they may not realize it, suffer from many insecurities towards themselves.

Honestly It all depends on the person and the day they are having. Say Im having a crappy day and Im rude because things are going bad then Yes i am unhappy. But say Im having a great day but I just don't like you or I think you look strange i may be rude simply out of prejudice. Or What if we are having dinner and I burp in a rude manner with out excusing myself it may not be rude to me it may just depend on my up bringing.Being rude depends all on the interaction between two people.

It could be unhappiness. It could be that they are sick and not feeling well. It could be that life is hard and they are bitter or they are stressed. Most often what they really are is out of control and out of sync with their minds, bodies and souls. You don't know what people go through. That is why you should never judge a book by it's cover. I'm sure you've been rude many times in your life. Mind you some people really are living in their own little worlds and you should just be you and not respond to how they act and what they say.

Some are , some aren't. Some people are what I like to call "Socially Retarded", meaning they don't know when they are being uncivil. Others are simply amoral and don't care that they are being uncivil. Happiness(or lack of) isn't always a cause for rude behavior.

It's been my experiance that yes,in general rudeness,while inexcusable,is usually a indicator that the perpetrator is genuinly unhappy,even if they think it's cute.

rude people are not only unhappy, but they suffer lot, as the people do not want to have any contact with them and do not want to talk with them.

Most of the really rude people I have met aren't smart enough to know if they are happy or not.

Absolutely! I still remember a girl in 8th grade (about 13 or 14 years old) looking at my smiling face and saying "What are YOU so happy about?" I just kept on smiling. I felt a bit sorry for her, too.

well i guess actually yah it is lol i was gonna say rich people are often rude (not always but often)
but i guess if there rich they would most likely have an unhappy family life.....so yah i guess your right haha

yes!i think they are so unhappy with their life ,that there only enjoyment in life is to make other people feel miserable.
