When I copy one DVD I have to encode again if I want a second copy

Very easy if using Nero in conjuction with shrink, open nero.exe then dvdvideo then new shrink saves the files to c:\moviename open the folder and hilight all the files in the video.ts folder and drag them to the new video.ts folder and burn

The program encodes once you press backup and you can save on either hard disk or let it write to DVD.The program allows you to perform operations with one dvd at a time. You can actually reauthor the dvd and cut allot of useless audio and menu and supplementary materials and choose how much percentage you to bring the movie down to manually i mean.If you do that may be you can put two movies on a dvd disk.Suggest you check quality after encoding before you perform any copy though because if it's too pixelated may be you might want to reduce less.I suggest you use DVD FAB too which is a good program to break those 9 gb disks into two 4.74 disks.

Why don't you save it on to your hard drive first? Once on your hard drive, you can copy movie on to any number of DVD's. Just select your hard drive to be the output source,
