KC Masterpiece Original. And as far as I'm concerned, there is no other...
honestly that's not true, I have enjoyed some other homemade sauces from specific BBQ joints. And I heard that ppl either like the liquedy, vinegar-based BBQ sauce out of North Carolina, or they like the thick, sweet tangy sauce out of Missouri. But I still haven't found anything to top the Masterpiece.
Honestly, I hope to one day visit the KC Masterpiece BBQ cafe in Kansas City Missouri. What a treat that would be!! *drools on the keyboard*

BBQ Sauce 2 Tab brown sugar a million tsp salt ½ tsp dry mustard a million cup ketchup ¾ c water 2 TAB vinegar a million clove garlic, minced generous dab of honey (a million TAB) combine in saucepan. deliver to a boil and simmer 10 minutes. Makes 2 cups, adequate for 4 lbs of ribs additionally surprising on beef chops.

I like a sauce that's not too sweet or too spicy. Actually, I prefer the rubs to the sauces.
