Arrggg. I was looking at people putting opeth down and stupid bands that are not metal. Then other people putting down black metal bands. Slipknot is it's own metal gerne because they are "different". Any how you question is to vage. It's like metal is classified as lot you didn't give one specific type of metal music... repost your question but as a type of metal and don't be vage and don't accept emo I saw emo as looked.

Quick question: Metal as in Metallica and Megadeth style, or do death and black metal bands like Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, etc. count aslo?

Ah, screw it:
Metallica
Megadeth
Iron Maiden
Black Sabbath
Lamb of God
Opeth
Killswitch Engage
Children of Bodom
Pantera
Meshuggah
Judas Priest
All that Remains
In Flames
Dimmu Borgir
Dragonforce
Shadows Fall
Testament
Slayer
Anthrax
Trivium
Obituary
Pig Destroyer

And on and on...

And whoever said Slipknot, Slipknot is NOT a band. Slipknot is a group of 9 guys banging metal bats on trash cans as they scream and getting a bunch of stoned fans to call it music.
