OK have to throw in my two cents here...
Firs and foremost Led Zeppelin, some sat it's impossible and technically it is, however I don't think any one would dare complain if they went and got Jason Bonham to play drums, after all he would be the best choice and successor to the throne as he is the son of the greatest drummer of all time. Plus, I'm sure he really doesn't like playing Foreigner songs every night anyway.

Another great choice would be the real Gun's & Roses, and not whatever poor excuse Axl is using to get fans hopes up only to crush them....again

Now I saw someone say KISS, newsflash KISS never broke up in fact they are indeed playing shows this summer, and don't give that "orginal lineup" crap, ok they have much better musicians now anyway, besides I've seen both and with the makeup you would be suprised how many people can't tell.

Wire again ( Wir.), Television, various old Fall lineups - the Riley years, two drummers, Brix, Marcia Schofield and then I'm right behind Husker Du but hows about Age of Chance, The Gun Club (Geofrey rip you golden soul), Whiskeytown and Uncle Tupelo, Pere Ubu (just to do the Modern Dance tour again, Lou Reed is just now touring Berlin), what a question. The remaining members of the MC5.

Better yet, the remaining members of the MC5 with Iggy Pop.
Before the band broke up, Iggy and the Stooges use to share the stage with the MC5. I think they even helped promote them when the Stooges were still unknown. The Stooges blew up and the MC5 became casualty to the politics of the day, and the cliche addiction.
I think Wayne Kramer's (MC5) last CD was unbelievably well done, with a whole lot of depth. I'd like to see these two old dogs howl on the stage together.
Even better still, if Iggy, Wayne Kramer, and Tom Waits were to hook up for something, there would be a riot just to buy advance tickets. LOL
For my generation (twentysomething), these guys are legends. You seek out their music, you see there bios in punk rock anthology, and they never went as commercial as The Stones which I think my generation sort of respects.

I'd have to say I'd love to see Grant Hart, Bob Mould, and Greg Norton once again play as Husker Du.

Yes, Skidaddle is correct. I'd pay big bucks to go See Uncle Tupelo reform as well.

first of all boo to the ppl that said "the police", "rage against the machine", or "pink floyd". obviously you haven't looked at ticketmaster lately. (unless you're upset syd barrett died then i agree)
I CAN'T BELIEVE no one thus far has said Queen. Yet, it is another one of those impossible ones.
As far as a more personal one, I'd love to see the original members of King Crimson.
