I'm guessing there will be many people trying to spoil the book, so I won't sign on until after I've finished reading it.

I read my daughter the first Potter book when she was 8. Now she's 15 and I'll be reading this one aloud as well....It's a daddy-daughter tradition

I most definitely will be staying away from the computer for the whole weekend of the release - or until I've finished reading! There are just to many people out there who thnk it's funny to spoil the book for everyone.

I will be far away from anything that could possibly in any way ruin the ending of the book for me. This will only last for a very short time though because on the last book it only took me one day (I started reading the second I got home and then read until 4 'o clock in the morning, got up at about 9 a.m. and immediately picked up the book and started to read again.) Nothing is going to ruin this book for me.

:) Tomorrow is my first day of my week-long abstinence from Y! Answers in order to keep the spoilers at bay. I like answering questions a lot and helping people out, but it's not worth getting spoiled by a long shot! And there are plenty of capable HP fans who can answer while I'm gone!

I've been a fan for 6 years, and I'm not about to let some punk have 5 minutes of fun spoiling the end for me!

I will probably avoid YA until I finish the book. I love reading though and it won't take me long to finish the book. I think that's a nice thing for a father/daughter to do.

I will be. The ending to the sixth book was spoiled for me by someone posting it in the question's subject. It was the same sort of mentality that causes young teenage boys to shout out the endings to movies in fronts of a line of people waiting to get in. Drives me nuts!

I really hope people put up spoiler warnings with their questions. Like "Harry Potter question [Spoiler]" because I would hate to have to avoid Yahoo! Answers, but I'd hate to have the ending spoiled too. So hard ... Really, Yahoo! should set up a Harry Potter category, so we can avoid those spoilers if we have to. =)

I will be so mad if any one spoils the book for me so I will be staying away as well.

What a great tradition you have with your daughter. Sweet.

I`m not sure what YA is, but I`m definitely avoiding Mugglenet for the next month or so.

I just realized that YA meant Yahoo Answrs! Sorry, shows how little I know.

me it ruins the book, all the fun dissapears.
If I did that then I obviously wouldn't want to read, just know the book so i can talk it over, yet I think ill be one of the first to finish because I am asuper fast reader

Same here. I don't like it when people spoil movies and book endings for me. Unless I ask, I just don't want to know and want to find out myself.
