Regarding above ground pools? We have a fence around the inground but also purchased an above ground (safe for the little one) about 4ft deep. Does it need to be in a fenced in area according to the law?

Just a little note...I know what's safe for my child. You can drown in a puddle, but I think young swimmers should be able to put down their feet. This allows my seven year old to.

Check with your Code Enforcer. I'm almost certain that you would need a fence.

FYI-- "little ones" can drown in 4' pools as well as the deeper ones, so No !! they are not safe.

I could be wrong, but most states require a 6 ft fence around all pools. check with the building authority in your city. good luck.

You should check with your local Planning Commission. They can probaly tell you via a phone call. You also need to be aware to legally protect yourself.,
