Because there is still alot of pressue on them. some people dont have the option of home schooling but if i wanted to keep the baby and i had that option thats wat i would do!!!!! some people who are pregnant at a young age cant always be home schooled and somtimes the parents dont want anything to do with them. some just think its a better decision to adopt there baby so they can have responisble and mature parents becuase the biological mother still hasn't experienced everything they may need to know to be a good parent.

I think that it might work, but only if she has help from her family members.
Sometimes teens don't have their parents support and are forced to get rid of their baby. Most of the time it's because of money, not to mention the girl is still in school. Homeschooling would be a good idea.
Babies are A LOT of work. I have my 4 month old baby sister to watch most of the time and she's a handfull and a half. They cost a lot of money too! She uses up 300 dollars every month on formula alone! Then there's diapers, clothes, medicine, and anything else!
A girl could MAKE it work, but not alone. I'm against abortion but there are tons of couples who cannot conceive that would love a baby. It would mean the world to them.

Well, I would get an abortion if I got pregnant (I'm 16. And keep your rosaries OFF my ovaries!).
Because it isn't fair that a girl made one bad choice (to have sex) so she should be stuck with the biggest of all burdens for the next 18 years? Plus it is very hard on the body to have a pregnancy at 14...to be supporting a baby and yet still be growing and developing yourself. But if you don't have an abortion, give the baby up. Do you think that the kid would LIKE living with a mom who was still trying to grow up herself?

i dont think abortions are the answer that is cruel and i think giving the baby up for adoption would be the best idea but if you really want your baby why shouldnt you keep it. but i think the best answer to this question is to not have sex until you know your ready for such a possibility. babys will change your life in many ways that a 14 yearold might not know.

some of the teens have reasons they would have to some teens are told that if they get pregnant then they will no longer have a home so its better to give the baby up so it can have a nice warm home and food rather than the baby having to strve and freeze it depends on the situation

I thank that she should keep the baby, and she doesn't even have to be home schooled, I know young teen girls who have babies and still go to my school and are doing a good job and school. You just have to be a responsible mother and when you need help just ask somebody.

At 14 you have your whole life ahead of you. A bay would stop you, and throw off your track of life. It's my opinion that they give it up, I'm pro-choice but I don't think a 14 year old could recover from the abortion emotionally.

I would suggest she give the baby up for adoption. Being a mother is hard work, I know. People are dying to adopt babies and 14 is just so young and it is a shame for her to sacrifice her youth.

i can completely understand why theyd give it up.
having a baby at 14?
is the person even in high school?
they have their whole lives ahead of them, and if they keep thebaby they will be ruining their life and the babys because of the struggles they'll have to go through.
i personally, dont think it could work too well, especially during college, grad school, etc etc.
but if they can make it work, by all means, go ahead.
