Cheryl,

This was a VERY interesting read information. I didn't know that some places "drove" people away from hospitals after such an emotion procedure. I called my health insurance company and questioned them about this. With my plan, I'm offered a MANDATORY 48 hour hospital stay.

I think this information would be something nice to add to ANY Breast Cancer Walk. :-)

Thanks for sharing.

Yep, I've read it before and am pretty amazed. Some insurance companies like the one I use already allow women to stay up to 48 hours if the doctor chooses to have the patient do that. I also found that with my insurance sometimes a patient can ask for it. I thought that was pretty interesting.

Where can I read this bill? Women that have to endure this type of surgery need a lot more than 48 hours to recoup. Hospitals just don't care anymore.
