depends on the city...225,000 dollars buys you a nice 4 bed 2-3 bath home in central florida ..275K may even get you a pool...

275k doesn't get you more than a BAD condo in a BAD neighborhood in LA or San Fran...and in fact...275 may be more realistic as a down payment...

250,000 will get you a parking spot in Manhattan...you tell me ...is USA expensive???? it's a frickin slab of cement with yellow lines MAYBE..typically they're white lines!!

Central and South America among other countries are a fraction of these costs.
