A good example is when, a few years after college, a girl that I knew from college contacted me. When we met she told me that she had been interested in me and wanted to know if I was involved with anyone. I had a boyfriend, but simply told her that I was already involved with someone else.
While talking about who we had kept in contact with she asked about a fraternity brother of mine who had come out as gay a few years earlier, and she asked me if he was gay... I told her that he was and she told me that she thought so and could always tell who was gay and who was not.
I did my best to not smile or laugh at her too much.

Some people are more obvious than others. The only way to know anyone's sexuality for sure though is to ask.

haha.. if you have "GAYDAR", then you can tell just by seeing the gestures of a person if he/she is gay....
i'm not overgeneralizing, but there are people who can detect ur sexuality through observations and somewhat interpretation of ur gestures, way of talking, way of walking, group of friends,reactions to issues(like how u react if asked about homosexual issues) and pretty much your clothing..

Only one of my friends guessed I was bi....and thats because he somehow always makes friends that are bi. Besides that, there would be no way you could tell, except maybe for my innate boyish and yet still girlish nature.
