I need a "wand" for the book opening!!i am going a LUNA LOVEGOOD!!!

I would go find a nice small tree branch and peel the bark off and rub with some fine sand paper to smooth it out. If you notice, the wands in the movies are not all straight and do appear to be branches from trees.

There's this book out called "The WandMaker's Guidebook" that includes a wand, feathers, glass beads, and sand. The base of the wand is able to be unscrewed so you can add whatever core material you want. Maybe you might want to pick the book up and add the core material you think might be in Luna's wand. Like maybe taking the stuff in the book and saying their things like owl feathers, ground dragon scales, owl gizzard stones, things like that. Or add wig or doll hair (claiming it's vella or unicorn hair or dragon heartstring). Flower petals might also be considered.

I would find a nice small tree branch and pick off any loose pieces and maybe sand it. Then spray paint it with gold paint. Or instead of spray painting it get some really good glitter and glue to decorate the wand with.

go to your local craft store and buy a wodden rod, paint it brown, and maybe put a couple bright colors at the end, maybe even get feathers. I would also recomend with a knife carving a little bit of the top of the wand to make it look like there is a grip on it

1) role up a piece of card board
2) paint brown lines and swirls so that it looks like wood
3) glue the cardboard securally togethor

I made mine by buying a wodden rod at a craft store, sanding it, and painting it. That's all there is to it =D
