It felt fine to me at the store and I did tons of research on it. But when I rode it i didnt like the way it rode or felt on the road. I figured I'd get used to it, but I can't do it. What can I do? I've had it 3 days and have tried to like it. I had a 250 and upgraded to a 650. help!!

the grips are too wide for my hands to comfortably reach for the clutch. I have to almost grab from the top towards the bottom to be able to reach it making it uncomfy for me. the brake grip is perfect, but i dont see a way to move the clutch grip. great bike from what i can tell bcuz yes i did the research. i wasnt able to test drive it before i bought it. i did play with it in the store and i guess i missed 1 part of my inspections before really knowing it was the bike for me.

Some states have 3 day laws and stuff but often only apply to cars. Go back to your dealer and hope that they'll have mercy on you.

They're likely to treat it as a regular trade-in, in which case you'll loose big money. And frankly, they can do this completely legally. You can only hope that they'll consider your situation and give you a break.

See, the thing is, you bought a 650 with the performance only slightly above a 250. No wonder you're disappointed. A kawaski Vulcan 500 would probably have twice as much horsepower - or more.

Good luck to you. I hope it works out.

Well I don't need to repeat what everyone else has already told you. If the clutch/grip issue is the only real problem then check into some smaller diameter grips and a clutch lever possibly with a different bend that makes it easier to reach.

Once you ride off the lot it's a used bike and you will take a hit bringing it back 10%-20% minimum depending on how sell-able a used one of these bikes is. Your out of luck if you really hate it bite the bullet and take it back but be prepared to loose cash.

BUYER BEWARE......

If you bought any extras like extended warranty you should be able to cancel that for a full refund. within 3 days. most states have a 3 day right of revision but you have to check your state for that law.

Here are your options:
1. Contact dealer for a trade-in. They will apply your negative equity to your new loan.

2. List the bike on Cycletrader, Ebay, and Craigslist, see if anyone will assume your loan.

3. Customize the bike to better suit your riding.

i have an older marauder go to the MiG forum (marauder and intruder group) and ask the guys on there they are a great bunch of guys and they should be able to help. nothing than a seat and a set of mufflers and handle bars, want fix happy riding
that will work out cheaper than the loss from the dealerships happy riding you should get a lot of miles out of that bike

You can put different grips on it and then adjust the clutch or have the dealer do it and it should be fine.If you take it back to trade it in ,do so quickly! The clutch perch is movable and you may just need to tilt it one way or the other to get it to feel better to you.

It's a used bike now. Maybe the dealer will work with you, but they don't have to. It's going to cost you some money.

I'm curious: what don't you like about it? Too much bike? I ride a C50T.

Unless you don't have a motorcycle endorsement there should be no reason why you couldn't test ride it unless the dealership doubted your skills. Buyer beware.
