so here are the names we have picked out for our lil one on the way..for a boy Evan Matthew and for a girl Caitlin Rae..what do u guys think

Rae has been in my family for quite some time and no one has ever made fun of a grl with that middle name..i have to keep it in the family!!

Both names are great! I love the middle name Rae for a girl, it's beautiful. I'm sure little Caity Rae will agree. And Evan Matthew is a nice, masculine name. Great choices. Good Luck!

I love the name Evan for a boy. In fact, my son is Evan :)
And for a little girl Caitlin is a really adorable name. When she gets older and wants to have a more professional sounding name she can always go by Kate.
I think the middle names you have chosen sound nice with the first names.

Evan is not one of my favorite names but I love Matthew. Caitlin Rae is very pretty.

Boys name sounds very good it flows.
Girls name does not sound fitting yet from first to middle one should be changed in my opinion.
how About Caitlin Marrie ?
The kids will make fun of a girl with a boys name in middle your two. Ray, or Rae, it will sound the same when said.
A more traditional middle name will fit better. Do you have a favorite Aunt, or Sister, check their names?

I love Evan Matthew! However, I don't like the middle name Rae, and I prefer the spelling Caitlyn (still the same name though..) How about Caitlin/Caitlyn Rose? or Caitlin/Caitlyn Elizabeth?

Evan Matthew is a nice name and the two go well together, however Caitlin Rae is not pretty or feminine, it would probably help if the rae is changed to a name.that is a bit more feminine

Great names! They are both nice! I am not sure about the boys name but on the grls theres alot of meaning behind it since its been in your family. Our middle name is Lynn for the most everyone has pasted it down to at lest one of their grls. It always makes us grls feel good because we feel like we have something in common. But the are both BEATIFUL names!! :-) good luck with it all

Wow...they are both really lovely strong names. I think that your lil bub is very lucky to have a wonder full mummy like you.:)
Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy and when you first look into the eyes of your little Evan or Caitlin you will know 'for sure' if its right for them or not.
Babies recognize there mummies and daddies voice in the uterus so what ever you call him or her they will know you and your voice will be familiar to them, and she/he will love you forever.
