how wonderful and loving and caring of a mother I had. I never want to forget her. She was so special, and nice, and good to me, and treated me so wonderful. That memory can carry me through the rest of my life to be that way to everyone because it makes you feel so good. I only hope I can treat everyone the way she treated me. What a planet we would have, if everyone was so kind and carrying like that. I now own my own jewelry store, and everytime a customer comes in I try to treat them as special as possible, and not just sell them a product, but really make them feel happy and good about being in my store and being cared for. I love doing that for people, and its a product of the memory of having a fabulous momma.

I know this doesn't answer you question but it is relevant to the topic so.... enjoy little bits of this article.... You can find the full article at www.livescience.com

Researchers at Harvard and McGill University (in Montreal) are working on an amnesia drug that blocks or deletes bad memories. The technique seems to allow psychiatrists to disrupt the biochemical pathways that allow a memory to be recalled.

In a new study, published in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, the drug propranolol is used along with therapy to "dampen" memories of trauma victims. They treated 19 accident or rape victims for ten days, during which the patients were asked to describe their memories of the traumatic event that had happened 10 years earlier. Some patients were given the drug, which is also used to treat amnesia, while others were given a placebo.

A week later, they found that patients given the drug showed fewer signs of stress when recalling their trauma.

Similar research led by Professor Joseph LeDoux has been carried out at New York University on rats; scientists were able to remove a specific memory from the brains of rats while leaving the rest of the animals' memories intact. An amnesia drug called U0126 was administered.

July 22-23, 2006 my first time seeing Pearl Jam, my first show @ The Gorge (venue ranked in the top 5 in the world by both artists and fans), and my first and only time dropping acid. Undeniably the most spectacular weekend of my life. To be more specific I would say when the the hills behind the Columbia River became alive.

its was years back when i had applied to a university for BS-Economics and few of my family members especially my uncle, was talking to my mom and he said that " Maria will not get this admission, economics is not so easy and she doesn't have that much knowledge, i don't think so she is capable of maintaining it, so you prepare ureself in advance about ure daughter's admission" This was what he said and then on the day of the declaration of the result, I not only passed the test but I was among the top ten students plus i cleared my interview with flying remarks. This was MY DA the day when i made my mother proud of me. I can never ever forget this day. happiness every where. hmmm there are 2-3 events where i just can't get my mind off.

My very first memory. I was being bathed and all of a sudden there was another child in the tub. He was smiling and laughing and splashing. In an instant I was doing the same and having more fun that I remembered because I was no longer alone in the tub. That other child I learned later is my brother and for good and bad I have never been truly alone after that moment. (mostly good)

This is very odd to write, with the late summer sun setting and the heat of the day coming through the window, but a Christmas when I was a kid.

As long as you don't mean walking, talking and going potty, I would choose my son when he was a 6 month old baby in my arms.

what a good question;
I would choose to keep my memory of me sunbathing in my backyard last year with my family, because I was in such a good place at that time:)
