I have to be ready to leave in 7 or 8 hours time - I am going with my parents on a 3 hour car journey in the morning - and I need to get me some sleep first.

Honey, I'm ready now. We have loads of places we can go. You name it, we'll go. There are loads of good clubs downtown, everything from jazz to punk. There are good museums that stay open late and we might even get in on an art opening if we're lucky. We can go dancing. Whatever you want to do. My husband is staying home with the kids so I'm free to play!

Oh, I'm ready right now. I don't want to brush my teeth, freshen my makeup and touch up my hair. Lets just go for a drive and see where it takes us. We can get a bite to eat if you are hungry. It's such a beautiful night.
