Not just paint but sand paper, masking tape, primer, body files, filler, and patience. Two gallons total. or 22 pounds of paint. primer, paint color and clear coat. And very good spray gun. Experance also helps. Paint booth, heating oven and detail department to clean up after. Make sure your restoration of the body on a old car is only after everything else is done.

just use some of that old latex left over from the mobile home

I think around two Gallons. That is we did with a fire bird with a pontiac spoiler included..
