recently I had to get a new radiator, and now my coolant fluid is greyish color. should I flush all the coolant fluid and put more in? and how do I do that? I have a Jeep cherokee, I know WHAT you are supposed to do to flush it and put new fluid in just not sure HOW to flush it (like where to unplug, unattach, etc).

is flushing the coolant fluid out the same thing that people have to pay a ton of money getting a "RADIATOR FLUSH"? why would it cost so much if all you do is take the old out, flush it with water, flush the water out, and put new liquid in? am I missing something?

Why don't you take it to one of those quick lube places and have it done. That way you don't have to worry about polluting stuff or an animal drinking the antifreeze. Last time we did it, we bought a kit to go with the flush. you cut the radiator hose, insert this fitting that allows for a hose connection. I'm not sure how the hose was reconnected. So, if you must, look around for a Prestone radiator flush and kit. To me, it sounds like you got more water in the thing than coolant/antifreeze, but I sure am FAR from a mechanic.

The plugs are usually at the bottom of your Radiator. You can buy a flush kit from any auto part store. But just to let you know. Most cars require 15lbs of pressure to keep the engine cooled effectively. Don't mean to scare you. :)

Never heard of grey antifreeze, if you had a shop change it out (which I suspect), take it back and have them explain why it looks grey. If you want to change it yourself (you will void any guarantee), near the bottom, or, on the bottom of the radiator will be a little valve, or plug with a head on it. To loosen, turn to thee left while laying on your back and your head toward the car. This won't get the water out of the engine block, but will empty about half. Close it off, fill it with water, run the engine about five minuets, and drain again. Close the drain and fill with new antifreeze.

I think maybe you should find a mechanic and ask them cause you are not going to get correct info on here .
