This is a big debate on YouTube right now so I want to know what you think! Do you think Lennon's versions of his own songs are the best or were the covers on Instant Karma better? I think Lennon did it best personally! I just hope that the message gets out (Lennon's and Instant Karma's that is!)! Thanks!

Lennon was THE MAN! The lyricist, the singer. NOBODY, does it better or even half as well, I don't care WHAT Carly Simon says! The music did NOT die with Buddy Holly...it died With John Lennon. End of story.

I like John Lennons versions better as well. I have only heard a few of redone songs but I saw a list of the artists on the album. Many of the artists on the album I find to be uncreative and severly lacking talent. John Lennon did the songs right not these current sorry excuses of music.

Lennon would naturally be the best at doing his own work. I am just so glad that his work is still heard and loved.
