can you use a motokrzr k1m as a modem to connect a laptop to internet?

i dont get what it means by using it for "dial up networking" or using it "as a modem". can you clear this up for me? will i be able to connect my laptop to the internet by my phone when im away?

If you have an internet plan with your carrier, yes. The carrier's website should have links to show you how to hook it up.
