Not watching the videos, but if you eat meat you're a hypocrite. Maybe meat packers and butchers should get the death penalty? Hunters should get the death penalty? Should animal abusers be allowed to have children?
Agreed that animal abusers are scumbags, a hefty fine and some jail time should do it though......and a ban on animal ownership too.

In Canada it's supposed to be that way. But those that abuse animals often get light sentences or fines. Some of the animals are so badly mutilated they have to be put down. There was a case where this person had a house full of cats. When the humane society went in, there were dead and dying cats everywhere. The officers had to wear special outfits to protect themselves from the disease that feces spreads. There were hundreds of cats. They had to destroy the house because it was a hazard to everyone. Laws are not strict enough. Fines mean nothing. Put the perps in jail and treat them how they treated their animals.

Absolutely. I can not understand people who allows an animal to starve to death or mis-treat them.
I can say for sure they greet you at the front door and are overjoyed to see you. They roll over to get a belly-rub
and they deserve all of the love you can give. They ask only to be loved, feed and water. They give a lot of love and, love to go for walks.
I rescue a little dog that was abused when she was four years old. The abuse has is still with her, she trust no one but me. She sleeps with me and I can't go to sleep until she jumps on my bed.
If a person can treat an animal bad, then the chances of the same treatment for an adult would be worse. A felony it should be...

All animal lovers will answer yes (and I am one too).
The problem is to get all the people on board, whether or not they are animal lovers - to understand that this is an issue that concerns us all and cruelty to animals is unacceptable and there will be a price to pay and/or consequences for these cruel acts.
People who consider themselves to be good and kind should realize that this is a responsibility and moral imperative to behave that way to all species (not just human).

No. Each state has to deal with the issue, individually and collectively. It's not a matter for Federal concern. It's not a case fitting any of the enumerated powers granted to the Congress in Article One. Ergo, under the Ninth and
Tenth Amendments, it remains something for the States to deal with.

I thought that law was already enforced? Not many go to jail but they are fined and outlawed to own anymore animals. Unfortunately not many people report animal abuse and it’s hard to keep track of people to make sure they don’t own anymore animals. It’s very sad.

absolutely yes, it should be a felony and it should carry 5 yrs first offense 10 for 2nd offense. for abuse, if one kills an animal they should get life without parole, i have 2 cats and i love them so much to me they are my kids, daisie is 4 yr old tabby and malcolm is a 2 yr old domestic short hair all black and if anyone ever hurt them, someone will pay. its makes me sick how a person lowers themselves to an animals level and beat them, use them for monetarty gain ( fighting them) ITS SAD AND NEEDS TO STOP , IF YOU DONT LOVE ANIMALS, ITS SIMPLE........ DONT HAVE ONE. malcolm my 2 yr old was a rescue animal he was severly beaten, he is afraid of everything, but is slowly comming around, im so glad i dont know who did this to him, but i always say GOD DONT LIKE UGLY, whoever hurt him, eventually will pay.
