Does anyone know where I can buy (stores or websites) a laptop with Windows XP not vista? Details? Thanks.

My local best buy says they have NOTHING with XP and when I tried to "build a laptop" on the dell website XP wasn't an option...

Dell offers it as an option on their 17-inch XPS laptop.

You could always give Dell's Ubuntu machines a try, if you can't get XP and you don't want Vista. Ubuntu is better than both of them. See here:

it'll cost you a little more if you wanna use XP seeing as how no new computer comes with XP anymore. You should be able to find a copy of XP at just about every major electronics outlet.

some of the dell notebooks still have xp only one i know for sure is the xps m1710

order them direct from dell, of buy one from bestbuy, they will stll sell them with xp...
