I hate the thought of my motorcycle helmets ending up in a landfill and adding to the global garbage problem. Is there an eco-friendly way to dispose of aging motorcycle helmets?

Paint images on them and place them on stakes like heads before the gates of London. To scare of evil. Turn them upside down and grow succulents out of them. More drinking water bottles end up in land fills than helmets. I am glad you care about such things?

yes they can be recycled, plastic helmets are melted down and used for other products and fiberglass ones can be made into insulation for homes.

I paint them and put them on fence posts. Now, they are art.
