car charger doesn't work??

my car charger wouldn't charge my GPS. I plug it into the slot, but the indicator light on the cable doesn't turn on, and my GPS ran out of battery.

is there anything that I need to do to use the car charger?

Just return the car charger or buy a new one.

Garmin seems to blow the cars cigarlighter fuses. Check that first it might be labled power socket.
