Is there an entrance to the Maid of the mist starting from the canadian side?...also the money from canada is different right so where can I convert the money into canadian amount.....is it true everything is more expensive over there?

There are entrances to the Maid of the Mist from the American AND Canadian sides of the falls.
You are right the money is different, but if you are in Niagara falls Canada 9 out of 10 places will take American dollars without question.
Some things are more expensive, others are cheaper. Like anything it depends on where you shop / what you are buying.
There are a ton of locations along the street of the Canadian side where you can convert your currency if you would like.

a great variety of the attractions are on the Canadians factor. i think of Maid of The Mist is the extra interesting ingredient to do. adventure in the back of the Falls is exciting too, yet you are able to no longer see as lots, and you do no longer experience the waves.

PS- as nice as the Ontario side is, avoid the TGI Friday's at all costs!
