They are mammal, live only in Australia, can grow up to 2 meters tall, is the only animal in the world thats embryo crawls on the outside of its body to make its way to the pouch so that incubation period can start, is a relative of the wallabies, can hop up to 100 mile a hour & if you get them angry....They could kill you with feet....They balance on there tails & kick out.....Very dangerous when angry , Don't approach wild Kangaroos, as there feet are about a size 14 in human feet size with 2 inch toe nails....So if one wants to give you a cuddle "RUN" !!!!!

A kangaroo is a marsupial from the family Macropodidae. In common use the term is used to describe the largest species from this family, the Red Kangaroo, the Antilopine Kangaroo, and the Eastern and Western Grey Kangaroo of the Macropus genus. The family also includes many smaller species which include the wallabies, tree-kangaroos, wallaroos, pademelons and the Quokka, some 63 living species in all. Kangaroos are endemic to the continent of Australia, while the smaller macropods are found in Australia and New Guinea.
In general, larger kangaroos have adapted much better to changes wrought to the Australian landscape by humans, as many of their smaller cousins are endangered. However there is considerable controversy over farming of kangaroos for meat.
The kangaroo is an Australian icon: it is featured on the Australian Coat of Arms,on some currency, and is used by many Australian organisations, including Qantas.

Here we go:
A Kangaroo is a Marsupial. It's an Australian Icon and can be found on the Australian Coat of Arms. Since we're talking about Australia you should know that they're found there. They love hopping it's how they move about from one place to the other...and they're pretty good at it to. The males are called Bucks, Females are called Does and babies are called Joeys.
Joeys are the size of a jelly bean when they're born and they are usually pink, blind and hairless, they live in their Mommy's pouch and drink her milk. I think Kanga's are also herbivores and total party animals... lol they're nocturnal..they're usually found resting in the day and they look for food in the night...and sadly some people actually eat Kangaroo meat.

they are marsupials which means that after they give birth to their young they spend an incubation type period living in a pouch on their bellies which is very sticky and gooey and not at all like the ones that stuffed kangaroos have. They could kill you with one kick.
