since it's ur bf with the problem, then a wide belt won't do. that's only reserved with gals. Werid to see a guy wearing a fashion wide belt. A skinny belt will move around, would not hold it in place. First can use a suspender. Secondly can try to sew those elastic waist bands to the inside of the jeans, but that's pretty difficult. Lastly can try safety pins. Gather the hem line at the side of the jeans and use a large pin (esp if jeans is thick) to fasten 2 edges together. Repeat it on the opposide side so that the jeans look symmetrical. but u need to wear a top over the waist line of the jeans to cover the pins

Check out this new product called Cranky Pants. It's a crank for your waistband. I use it instead of a belt. I have one and it works great!

either get them taken in or wear a longer shirt so your behind won't show another idea would be to sew on your own belt loops simply take denim fabric from something else and sew strips on but still wear a longer shirt because it may look tacky

Get them hemmed at the dry cleaners! Or in the mean time, safety pins work! Or even put a betl on, even without the loops. if you make it tighht enough, it should hold them up ;)

old opposition trick: attempt grip spray (Mueller Magic Grip Spray) not lots. in basic terms spray a splash on your pores and skin suitable the place you go with the denims to stay. i'm guessing that is not a length concern or a belt concern in elementary terms a convenience concern. The spray will keep them in place and because it truly is made for pores and skin it won't harm you.

Buy a wide belt that you can put around your hips. It will look trendy and help with holding your pants up.

Suspenders hidden under your shirt. I have the same type of problem. Like a lot of males I am not equipped with decent hips.
