I'm all for freedom of speech people but there's a time and place for it. I've seen actual footage of people with posters saying all kinds of heinous, mean things at the funeral of soldiers. I don't care if you protest the war or not - it's incredibly mean and disrespectful to disrupt a funeral of anyone. These families are already grieving the loss of a loved one and then they have to deal with war protesters being completely disrespectful of their loss? I think it's HORRIBLE and I can't believe Congress hasn't passed a federal law against it. They have to stay a certain feet away but to me, that's not enough. I hope everyone on here writes their senators to complain. War protesters should be able to protest - that's their freedom - but do they have to do it at a funeral? NO CLASS. Ok - I realize there's not really a question here so much as me venting. Sorry! :)

There comes a time when the right of FREEDOM OF SPEECH should take a backseat to the RIGHTS of a family to grieve...

ANY intrusion at such an event is despicable , and those involved really have NO moral sense .. sure they believe they are being Moral in protesting the war .. BUT if you are NOT moral in other ways you're a damn hypocrit. Such people are NOT decent and bring shame upon those who are anti-war for the right reason

I'm anti-war .. BUT I would stand shoulder to shouder with a Pro-war person in seeing these so called protestors being evicted from a private funeral.

I agree one hundred percent with you !

Lefties what more can you say. we certainly don't need them.

If they get their way and your troops come home then after all those Al Quaida fighters have turned Iraq and Afghanistan back to a hot bed of extremist shia law and corruption, they will be over on the next flights to do the same to US and UK with Allah and a fresh Aurora of victory.

Punch a lefty a day keeps the loonies away

People may have a "right" to protest at funerals, but that does not make it RIGHT!!!! It is so disrespectful and their friends and neighbors should let them know how they feel about it. But we need to be very careful about infringing on people's right to assembly and speech.

have you heard of calling the cops. if these people go to a funeral to protest, well call the cops, and sue them for a huge load of money. sue for emotional distress. bring a metal bat, start looking at them and you can probably scare them away. i of course would start throwing stuff at them, such as funeral related stuff and say thats part of my religion like throwing burning paper, thats the asian religion. maybe smoke sticks(similar to smoke granades-they create loads of smoke) that would blow so much smoke in their face that they will move away. comeon, who said you cant do this stuff. i would even toss water at them, hose them down, especially with water and some honey. just do it out of sight so you dont get caught. even a stink bomb would do( you know little bags that pop and smell like someone really farted big time. you know things to annoy people. its fun too and get rid of these human pest.

I totally agree!!!! I find it very ironic that these protesters are protesting at a place where the person gave up their very life so that they continue to enjoy the freedom to protest!!! God Bless our Troops, God speed & Thanks to them, & to protesters pray that they appreciate that they are here due to the dedication of the people they are protesting

No. I believe that God has a better spot picked out for them. And it's a lot hotter than even the jails in summer in Arizona and Nevada.

I would like see these people get stoned (with rocks) before the cops show up. You could say you were expressing your 1st amendment rights.
