...is nothing but transparent pathetic pandering to the homosexual community ? How about a black debate ? A transvestite debate ? A debate for every little teeny demographic ?

Seems wrong.

As a heterosexual woman who works with many people who identify at LGBTQ I would love to see my coworkers receive rights to health care benefits for loved ones, etc. I also think its a bigger demographic than you probably think.

They already had the Black debate. Hillary won. Obama just can't seem to grasp the whole Black concept.

And it's not just a pathetic pandering to the gays. It also a pathetic pandering to the Fundies, who are the only reason being gay is an issue at all.

Personally, I'm looking forward to it. It'll be fun watching Republicans bow and scrape to the Fundies while trying not to sound totally loony. And there's always the chance that one or more of them will be outed during the Broadcast.

It'll be just as much fun watching the Democrats negotiate the tricky waters of a conflict between Politically Correct groups.

They just had a black debate not too long ago.

I dont really mind. Some communities have issues that arent necessarily the same as other communities. They all have the right to ask candidates questions regarding their specific issues.

And from the candidates point of view, theyre reaching out to all kinds of communities to grab as many votes as possible. Of course its pandering, but its nothing unusual. And really nothing to get worked up over.

i'm happy to work out we've greater sensible applicants interior the primaries than i think of we've had in a protracted time (8 years cough cough). I even tend to be a democratic voter and am likely balloting democrat back next year, tremendously if Obama gets the nomination. regardless of the indisputable fact that, i'm inspired with the Republicans this year. particularly Romney and Huckabee. i think of it can be a intense-high quality substitute from G Dubya Bush to have a personable and sensible president. management is a given with those applicants. regardless of the indisputable fact that, i in my view felt that the final Youtube CNN debate pushed me greater effective removed from the Republicans...it appeared like toddlers arguing for fairly a on a similar time as throughout that communicate. i like the platform the Democrats are engaged on, that they seem to be a unified occasion, and not individualistic. it truly is intense-high quality to work out that the Democratic applicants are showing interest interior the stable as an entire, and not fullyyt their very own very own income, even however, of course, they're campaigning to win. i'm excited to work out who gets the nomination from the two events regardless. it truly is a harder decision for me than i think of top now.

Since when did "black" become a demographic. It is a race people. Lest you forget Colin Powell and Condi Rice as friends of the Bushies are no friends of mine. I am black (yeah I know my avatar clued you in already) . But I have a brain. Not educated in blackness, but in the same values and interests as all of you were. I love my race, but my intelligence and perspective comes from my life experiences, not my skin color. So please once and for all stop talking about race as if it were a pre-defined characteristic and voting block.

Maybe to you but it seems to me there are plenty of people in this country who can't stand gays and lesbians and would like nothing better than to wipe them off the face of the earth. I bet you wouldn't be asking this question if you were gay and being denied the rights every straight person receives. All men are created equal. I think I recall that phrase from somewhere or other.

I didn't even know there was a "Homosexual Community". There are gay people living in my community. Should I tell them they're in the wrong community? "Sorry fellas, you're in the Heterosexual Community. The Homosexual Community is on the other side of town. Just follow the rainbow flags."

actually one of the last debates they had focused on black issues... if I remember correctly...

but personally, I don't see a problem... these groups want to know where the candidates stand on issues that are important to them... and that's all the debates are doing... discussing issues important to people...

should we just ignore everyone but the white males, like Republicans?

We need to STOP the liberal outing machine from outing gay Republicans such as David Dreier and governor Crist. We cannot afford a repeat of the Mark Foley disaster. Look what they did to a good Christian man.

It isn't anyones business that Mary Cheney and Heather Poe are raising Dick Cheney's grandson as My Two Mommies.

I have no problem with it. Gays and lesbians are here and deserve all the rights the rest of us enjoy. And they vote in very high percentages.
