Why is Baseball SOOOOOO boring? It sucks, I can't belive people find it exciting. Soccer is 100x's better.

All you do is run around bases, and yell annoying chants. The exciting parts are when a coach/player starts being crazy... Soccer is alot better! I play indoor soccer now instead of outdoor because my outdoor coach was a biscuit.

As a person who grew up watching baseball, I think the enjoyment of any sport is proportional to your knowledge of the game. I know very little about soccer - I can't see the plays develop like a true fan of the game would, so it seems boring to me. I still can, however, appreciate the athletic ability that most soccer players possess. Baseball is similar to soccer in the sense that there seems to be, at least to the untrained eye, a lot of "down time" when nothing seems to be happening. In my case, I don't understand soccer well enough to understand the slower parts of the game, and I imagine you don't know baseball well enough to know it's slower parts. It's more a question of how well you know the game. I'm sure if I took the time to know soccer better, I would not find it as painfully dull as I do, and you probably would enjoy baseball more if you understood it better.

Soccer is nothing but people kicking around a ball and never scoring. Talk about boring! Baseball is probably too complicated, challenging and psychological for you to understand.

Soccer is for communists.

European soccer was not working in the USA. The only hope was to change the scoring and making it more exciting, and it still failed. Baseball is the second most popular sport in the USA.

I admit I don't know anything about soccer. Could it be you don't undertstand it?

Nobody is forcing you to watch baseball.

I'll be watching and rooting for the US in the under-20 this weekend, but baseball is still a far better sport. My guess is that you don't really have the intelligence to understand its complexities.

ok im a huge baseball fan and live n KC so i watctch all the royals games cuz im a huge fan.... i love baseball its the best..
since i live n KC we also got the wizards a pretty good soccer team i tried watching 1 of there games aginest the D.C. united ant KC won like 1-0 and i got board so many times it would go back and forth back and forth back and well u see

so i tried ...but its just way 2 boring... no scoreing at least baseballs got homers,strickouts,stolen bases and scoreing

Both are boring to watch but fun to play because of their slow scoring way, You can seat there for hour before some one score a home run, same with soccer. Football and basketball are alot faster so it is better for watching but football is not good for playing unless you like pain....

It's not It takes skill because each ball park is slightly diffrent in one park it could favor hitting and the other pitching and some change depending on witch way the wind is blowing. Baseball takes skill to adapt to all the stadiums.

The only people who find baseball boring are people who don't understand it. Played well, it is the most suspenseful and, frankly speaking, intelligent games in the sports world. Unlike you, I don't need constant motion to find something interesting.

baseball requires a lot of thinking and strategies. its not just a whole bunch of people running around a giant field kicking a ball. thats why baseball is america's pastime and soccer isnt even one of the four major sports leagues.
