Why are Virgo women domineering, cold, secretive and mean?

I am a leo/virgo. I have characteristics of both signs. I was just curious is all. I tend to have those characteristics. Well at least that's what some people think when they meet me.

Well, Virgo is an Earth sign and a Mutable sign as well. Mutable sign people like myself (I'm Pisces) keep secrets sometimes. Virgo is the most misunderstood sign of them all since they fall under the whole, "Mid-life Crisis" image. In general, ALL Earth sign women are like that, including Taurean women and Capricorn women. It's just their nature.

Well i found out that they could be related to scorpios in the genealogy of signs.

First was the Pisces principle in nature, non sexuated at that time. They are the feet, the fins and the wings of animals.

Then came, from the dejections of the Pisces, the Scorpio principle. Really this would be a "rib" of the Pisces. It's the anus, the sex and the tail of animals. Natural selection began at that time.

Then lived, from the (re)union of Pisces and Scorpio, the Libra principle. A balance between fair and unfair. The arms (tentacles), the trees, the skeletons, the coral reefs, and the first principle capable of dying.

Wait now, I'm almost there. Fourth, lived the Gemini principle, from a desunion of the Libra Scales. That leads to Castor and Pollux, the twins. One is clean and claims to be good, while the other is dirty and his actions speak for himself. This stands for the hands and the fingers.

Finally (i won't go further) appeared, you guessed it, the Virgo principle from a juicy mix of Castor and the Scorpio. Therefore you have it. Your description of the Virgo instincts fits into mine. ; )

*Nobody, it seems, is born 100% under one sign today. The kind virgos are coupled with a cancer sign. While the secretive virgos are most probably one third Scorpio. A mainly domineering behavior is closer to your type (leo/virgo).

My younger sister is a Virgo and one of my closest friends is a Virgo as well!!! A lot of people see them as that, but if you look deeper into the Virgo, you'll see it isn't that at all. Virgos are very modest but they have their way of doing things and to them, it's the correct way. It's not to be bossy, it's just simply the correct way. People oftentimes see this as domineering. Virgos are also shy. They tend to see social situations as stressful. This can make them seem cold. Virgos are also refined. So their being secretive isn't stemming from dishonesty. It's simply good manners to them. I think if you combine all those traits, people can see Virgos as mean. And Virgos are critical. But they think they're just helping you fix your flaws. Most people don't want to be fixed. So Virgo comes off as mean. But underneath it all, they are very helpful, caring creatures.

Did some Virgo woman step on ur toes ?? Virgos can be critical as they tend to be perfectionists, they r very family oriented and nurturing. Meanness is not a trait specific to Virgo`s, any astrology sign can have the same and secretive is not a bad thing for anyone to strive for as opposed to being a gossip or spilling ur guts about anything or everything u know. A closed book can be opened by the right person, it`s not meant for everyone to read. I am a Virgo.

You made that way to broad you're never gonna get the right answer, you should ask why are you so domineering, cold,secretive and mean? So why are you? You should have someone do your chart.

Well, first of all, horoscopes are not in any way indicators of a person's mentality and/or personality. If they were that would mean we would never have real control over our own thoughts and actions because they'd be pre-determined by our hour, day, month and year of birth, even if just to some extent. Any rational person knows that is not the case as there're far too many examples contrary to it. Second: my girlfriend is a Virgo and she's nothing like what you said. Third: even if you have met several people that fit that description, it is always a mistake to generalize. Forth: you have to be pretty shallow to actually allow yourself to have such a prejudice and narrow mind.

I'd just like to add that horoscopes may be, like someone already said, fun to read, but they really lack in the credibility department. They're usually written in such a way that they're so vague they could be applied to people of several signs and it would still seem right. In other words, and in my humble opinion, horoscopes are just BS.

I see you've added some comments so I'll just say this: you are what you make of yourself and what you allow your environment to make of you. If you tend to have those characteristics, it's not because of your sign, it's because you're a human being who has become like that for diverse reasons that influenced and affected you, just like many other human beings who share those traits, regardless of their signs.
