I always answer , usually nobody stops unexpectedly so I'm prepared for a stranger trying to sell me something , I just give them a quick no and close the door ending their potential sale before it starts.

Around here it's usually the Jehovah's Witnesses and I can't hear them over the dogs and they never seem to understand that, so I don't answer the door.

lol, sometimes it's pretty fun if it's a jehovas witness, or a lady from avon trying to sell you something, cuz you can play around with their minds... like one time i remember, a lady from avon knocked, and i just messed up my hair, and answered the door in boxers, and i'm like "hey lady can you come back some other time? me and the misses are having a little fun" lol and she just got wide eyed and went running away...

i don't usually open the door, we don't need to buy anything and if my kids and husband are home i know it's not an emergency so i just let it go usually. if the kids or hubby isn't home, i do open it then. where we live, we usually get Jehovah witnesses soliciting their religion and i am full blood christian and don't need to be bothered.

Lot's of times, especially when I don't want company, I just look out the upstairs window to see who it is and decide.
I also don't answer the phone when I don't feel like speaking to people.

yep, all the time. theres people walking up and down my block all the time trying to sell worthless junk. i just peep thrue the window, and if i dont know who they are, and i noticed they didnt park a car in front of the house, then i realize that they are either religiouse and are on a mission to change who i am, or they are going to try to pressure me into buying something. and if i want something i will buy it on ebay or go shopping myself
