I'm listing a desktop computer on ebay soon and I need to know the approximate value to come up with an opening bid price or a buy it now. Either the value or a good listing price would be helpful!

120GB hard drive
CD-RW/DVD-ROM optical drive

I'm not looking for people to tell me that they think that my computer is junk because theirs is better. Nor am I looking for people accusing me ot having illegal software. I just want to know how much the system is worth wether you like the hardware or not.

You didn't list the exact model of Presario... but chances are it sells new for $699.
Your software is actually worth more then the PC hardware...
That hardware, if you bought it all off of NewEgg.com, would cost you $300 tops.
Vista Ultimate is worth $189 OEM or $289 retail
Office 2007 Enterprise? Do you mean Ultimate or Professional?
2007 Professional OEM is $229 and retail is $379
2007 Ultimate is $399 retail..not sure what the OEM price is...
Bottom line is..when a new system is $699 the most you will get out of your used system will be $400

If the software is legal, I would put the original XP software back on the computer, and sell the computer for $200- $300 and keep the $400- $500 in software (Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 Enterprise) for my next computer or sell it separately.
If the software is illegal do not include it with the computer. If I bought a computer and found it had $500 worth of illegal software installed I would have no hesitation to report you to eBay, Microsoft and the police.

Without the premium software $200- $350
People who buy Vista Ultimate and Office 2007 Enterprise are not going to install it on a second rate computer. So you will attract two groups of people, one who will buy it for the software and the second for a cheap used computer.
I would never have installed Vista Ultimate on an AMD Sempron 3000 it is too slow and it probably runs like cr@p with Vista installed.
Nvidia GeForce 5200 is JUNK they are now at the 8600 series (3 generations newer). Is it a PCI express x16?
120 GB Hard drive is tiny by todays standards.

I personally wouldn't buy it for over $250, I can build a stronger computer for $300

If used i agree with Jake. Maybe a tad more if factory sealed.
