I've been a fan of yours since my first days on YA and you never struck me as being jaded. You certainly haven't appeared to be "cynically or pretentiously callous." You give no indication of being cynical nor pretentious. Certainly not callous.
Dulled by surfeit; sated? Perhaps, but that would be for you to say. Relative to many others, you remain sharp and seem hungry for valid and relevant input.
Worn out; wearied? Hmm. Aren't we all to some degree? I have noticed, however, that the last week or so you seem to have grown increasingly perplexed by the polarization and lack of respect for others sometimes shown here. If this is true, hang in there. The ranters will come and go. Many of those who remain will be thoughtful.
I don't think I am jaded and I'm pretty certain you aren't either. Hang in there.

I stopped being jaded right after I turned 40. I realized that I could either shake my head and smile at all that was going on around me or I could become a grumpy middle age and then old man.
The world sometimes gives me hives but what the heck you only go around once and most of the things that drive me nuts are not quite worth it
