those who answered 25 -100x15 are wrong and here is the proof:

25,10,-5,-20

F(1) = 25
F(2) = 25 - 15 = 10
F(3) = 25 - 15x2 = 5
F(4) = 25 - 15x3 = -20

F(n) = 25 - 15x(n-1)

==> F(100) = 25 - 15x(100 - 1) = 25 -15x99
= 25 - 1485 = -1460

Let 100th term = u 100
u 100 = a + 99 d
where a = 25 and d = - 15
u 100 = 25 - (99 x 15)
u 100 = - 1460

1) 25
2) 10
3) -5
4) -20

you subtract 15 each time. so basically, since you are looking for the 100th term, you will minus 15 100 times. so it would be 15 x 100 = 1500 below zero, but you started at 25. So you add 25 to -1500. It becomes 1475.

Just keep adding -15 until you reach the 100th term.
