I mean if a GOP candidate won. The Liberal Patriot seems to think this sort of thing could happen with Bush, so let's put it on the other foot.

Do you think American's would form milita's and take back our Republic by force if Hillary nullified the 2008 elections so he could stay on office and continue his agenda?

Do you think the US Army would fire on Americans (I know they have before) to protect such a presidential power grab.

Do you think Hillary would nullify Posse Commitatus so they could.

Would you revolt to prevent the the USA from becoming a dictatorship with a "president for life"?

I know this all wildly hypothetical but I though the questions was an intreresting one.

What would you do if in one day with the stroke of a pen America wasn't America any more?

Yeah, a hypothetical with Hillary as the villain, while the power grabs of today's executive are cheered. The world is a topsy turvy place.

A more likely hypothetical would be Bush refusing to obey Congress if it overroad a veto of a bill to get out of Iraq.

Remember cons, the executive practically never gives up a power once gained. Every power you give Bush is a power given to every future president, including Democrats. So if Hillary did turn out to be a dictator, it will be with the tools YOU gave her.

Hillary is not in power. Bush is, your argument has a few holes in it. Hillary would have to have served 4-8 years before this would be a factor. I suppose i am what you would call a liberal patriot, i am very interested in the well being of my country. I do not however agree that fighting the whole world for Imperial dominance is the way to go about securing our land. This would lead to far too few being in power. We all know what absolute power does to people do we not? The desire for power/money/glory. But let me answer your question such as it is. Yes i personally would fight ANY leader of the USA who proposed to nullify elections to retain power. ANY LEADER no matter their affiliation. Is that plain enough? It is not Republicans or Conservatives that i hate. It is those in power who would use our system of government to hold sway over our own people. It is those in power who would sell out their own countrymen for the promise of power or money. It is those people ON BOTH sides of our flawed broken 2 party system that i fear and would fight. It is EVERY single politician with the power to fight the Federal Reserve Bank who doesn't that i mistrust. Have you ever heard of Divide and Conquer? Do you see what is happening to America? We must stand united against ALL those in power who would misuse us and our freedom. Hillary is as scary to me as George Bush.

You mean, if Hillary were the current president (instead of Bush), and decided to suspend the 2008 elections?

I can't speak for anyone else, but it really doesn't matter what political party someone belongs to. Betraying the constitution and violating federal law is just as bad regardless of who you are, or what party you belong to.
