After my doc appt today, about 5 hours later I have a bit of mucous with blood in it. Is this from the exam or could this be my plug?

With my first child I never even saw a plug. I have no contractions just a small back ache. How big is a plug? I heard it can come out over a few days

its your mucous plug, is there any water coming out? goo to emergency room if there is

It could be either one. Maybe if your doc did a vag exam, it made a little blood come out...or you could be starting labor. You'll know in a few hours!! No need to call the doc unless your water breaks or you have really strong contractions.

Sounds like you mucus plug, I would call your doctor and let him/her know.
