With my first pregnancy I experienced implantation bleeding. My period was due Tuesday and I have tested positive on several hpt's. So, why no implantation bleeding this time? Is the fetus somewhere it's not supposed to be like an ectopic pregnancy or something?

I've had four pregnancies, two with definate implantation bleeding. I did experience some bleeding later in the pregnancy (5 weeks with one pregnancy and 12 in the other) that the Dr and sono tech said that had been implantation blood that had not been expelled previously during the pregnancy.
I think it's very common to not get it. In fact, I think statistically, they say that more women DON"T get it than those that do.
Either way, you don't have to have implantation bleeding to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby. The body just sometimes re-absorbs the blood, and sometimes it may be such a little amount, diluted with the rest of female fluids and discharge, it would not be noticed.
Best wishes!

Only 20% of women have implantation bleeding. Having it once doesn't mean you will have it again.
