just because a group of astro scientists have a big meeting and decide to change things after 70 years doesn't mean the rest of the billions of people should allow it. my very energetic mother just served us nine.....???? what?? mom went through all that work to keep everyone hungry now.

YOU SOUND JUST LIKE MY HUSBAND...HE COMPLAINS ABOUT THAT ALL THE TIME. I AGREE, I THINK IT'S STUPID THAT THEY CHANGED IT...WHAT GAVE THEM THE RIGHT...IT SHOULD BE PUT TO A VOTE!!!!

It's really a matter of economics. What value is there in having a planet named Pluto to anyone on earth other than the Disney Corperation. Hey, maybe we could approach them to subsidize the earth economy by renaming our dear planet "GOOFY"

I think people have more important things to worry about. If you want to think of it as a planet, well, go ahead then. I don't think society will go to pieces at your rebellion.
