The good news would be that we actually started fighting and looking for the people who caused 911 and not this bogus bullsh*t that is being shoveled down our throats everyday by this Administration.
Which is also the bad news about the war on terror , the mess they started in Iraq.

We need to finish off what started in the first place in Afghanistan and Pakistan. As recent reports have shown we now know Al Quaeda is stronger because our Government has been jerking off in Iraq.
And Osama has been taking care of business the whole time using the fiasco as a recruiting tool. And we helped him instead of hunting him down and killing him.

What a bunch of losers!
Now that is bad news, and yeah I am disgusted and sickened by it.

War on Terror- The ultimate justification
I was worried from the moment Bush started talking about "evil-doers" and "axis of evil". When we went to war with Afghanistan, I was for it, as much as 1 can be 'for' a war, but I agree that Bush has gone overboard. Now, we hear "War on Terror" as a justification for everything! Want to start an illegal war? War on Terror! Want to wiretap fellow Americans? War on Terror. Want to stuff people from our Country or Canada on a private plane and take then somewhere they can be tortured? War on Terror. Every civil right Bush and Antonio Gonzales take away is justified with those three powerful words, words which translate into "Be very afraid" and I can only hope everyone is sick of hearing about it for the right reasons...so we can stop being fooled by a fool!

There isn't any good news.

News is about the strange, the unusual, the weird.

Mentioning the bad stuff means a report every few days.

Mentioning the good stuff would mean posting something every five minutes.

No one sees ex-felons in the news for criminal behavior - you see our representatives.

No one sees a gay man in the news for pedophilia (not to say that they are all pedophiles, but the thought is there, and thus it is expected, unfairly in most cases), just priests.

No one sees the divorce of a poor couple - they see our Congressmen and Senators.

What is really sick is how many people mistake the news for reality! That's silly.

By the way, that means that Fox News really isn't all about the news. They show both sides, even if one side isn't really all that rare. It's critics are correct (not quite in the way they think).

I'm a democrat. But first and foremost, I'm a patriot. Bless our President and all patriotic Americans who put their country ahead of their own personal ideology.

I agree that the media loves to put out the bad news. There are many good humanitarian stories that don't get the publicity.I remember seeing some of our troops helping Iraqi schoolkids build a soccer field.Another group was helping rebuild a school and get supplies for the kids. These are important stories, but the media focuses on the blood! War is hell and always will be.Your best defense on this is to not watch the national news nteworks and carefully get your news from the internet as I do.

It is just a fact. Not going to go away until we get hurt bad enough to do something about it. One would have thought 9/11 and all the other attacks would have made the world wake up and really take action. Bush will have his legacy in the future as the one that tried to do something, but the liberal media and politics would not let him.

When hundreds of thousands die instead of a few thousand, maybe we will finally decide there is an enemy and he is not us.
