ummmm i like the smell of burning wood..... yet mostly you put on coal AND a log silly.......

I used to lol but before I bought my house.... I rented a cottage with nice real fires.... right pain in the backside to light and keep going lol..... set fire to the floor and alsorts.... in the end I just used to put on extra clothes.... buy the following winter had bought a new house lol now nice and warm hassle free lol

I burn both on my fire. I love cuddling up in front of an open fire with my family on a cold night (which is most nights here in Northern Ireland). There's nothing like it.

There is something about real fires, I think it's the noise it's weirdly therapeutic and the heat is so relaxing lol :)

I have an open fire...there is nothing like it on a cold winters night, lovely and cosy.. and the smell...mmmmmm
