Absolutely nothing. I'd like to say that you're comparing apples and oranges, but it's more like bowling balls and daisies. Or pantyhose and chainsaws.
It shows the value of the dollar against a weighted basket of foreign currencies. Nearly 75% of these currencies are European currencies. (13.9% is Japan and 9.1% is Canada)
The dollar IS weak against the major European currencies but that has virtually NOTHING to do with Bush's deficit and almost everything to do with higher interest rates in Europe.
A low dollar in Europe DOES make it more expensive for US tourists there, one reason that tourism is down in Europe. And it makes US goods cheaper on the European markets so it's actually DESIRABLE for companies that sell US made goods in Europe. It does make European goods more expensive here and therefore tends to slow the sales of European goods in the US.
Against the major Asian currencies the dollar is doing very well and has been for a while. Asian interest rates are closer to what US rates are AND we do MUCH more trading with Asia than Europe anyway so a strong dollar is to be expected against Asian currencies.
Please understand what you are talking about before you spew a bunch of nonsense here.
BTW, I'm a Liberal and no fan of GWB, but you marginalize yourself and any efforts against the status quo when you throw garbage out there that you just don't understand.

Here is the funny part. Bush can make a budget request, congress has to approve the budget request. One of my biggest issues with the current administration is the huge amount of spending. Both parties are responsible for the 8.8 trillon you are talking about. That did not all happen under Bush's watch. The current Iraq spending bill has $20 Billion in pork spending so that the democrats could get the votes to pass it. So put the blame where it lies, on Congress. The republican congress spent the money, not Bush. The democratic congress is now in charge of the purse and they seem to be doing the same thing with the welfare programs, pork projects, etc. But Bush gets the blame. Go figure.

They say that this is the Greatest Economy in the History of our Nation.
Thanks to Bush's Tax Cuts.
We people who work-----know. We are doing great.
We aren't fooled by the people who don't work, and are missing out on great opportunities.

It's hard for investors to have confidence in a country as deeply in debt as we are.
