I'm looking for a mid priced gaming computer...I know you can add graphics, memory, and hard drive later as long as the power supply can handle it.. so I guess I'm more interested in the type of prosessor to use and the diff. between them

Definitely an Intel processor clocked above 2.6 ghz and either a duo or quad core depending on budget. Definitely 2gb RAM, any hard drive and the video card depends on how hardcore the gaming is. Most companies make suitable video cards for different levels of play so get one around 256 mb dedicated RAM. Outside of that, its up to you. Also, get a motherboard with SLI capability so that you can upgrade to 2 video cards if you want.

About $750 for a decent gaming computer.

I would get a 8600GT, great mid line gpx card.

CPU : Intel E6600 2.4 or a AMD FX or X2 Dual Cores

550w PSU

2GB Corsair XMS Ram

500GB Hard Drive

Motherboard
