It underlined to me how very pathetic our society and the general public have become, and sadly are getting worse about 'celebrity'. It's making me feel sick these days. Even on serious news programmes they give so much time to fawning over 'celebrities' and every move they make, which used to be a strictly teenage occupation, but these days adults are way too obessed with these people, and it's especially worse because the vast majority of them, such as Hilton, are only famous for being famous and make no real contribution to our world other than that. It's all a very sorry reflection of the state of our mentality in the early C.21st.

I agree with PatR. They are so self obsessed. And I have never known anybody with such vanity as Victoria, who is now trying to convince us that there is more to her than her POSH POUT. Pull the other leg. Don't think so.
In saying that, to be honest I don't really care, but how the heck they have managed to build up the fortune they now have God only knows.
Yes, David has been very talented and no one can argue with that, but does that warrant the fortune they have amassed.
Just shows you some people must completely idolise them.

Nothing at all. Beckham may be good at his job, but then so are lots of people. And posh is just a stick-insect poser. So it's just the usual cult of celebrity rubbish. Bah humbug.

Embarrassing! How the skinny stick can think that she looks oh so natural when she is oh so posed - continually. Can you imagine never being able to relax, having to always pose & pout? Pitiful individual. If this is the best that Britain can export ......

Very tacky. Not exactly going to make middle class America become fans. I think they will be thought of as "trailer trash".
I feel that this was a bad move & they will sink into oblivion.

David was sooo red in those pictures and I didn`t find that attractive. I don`t know...I just never had an interest in them and I could care less that they`re coming here.

I think they are both gorgeous, and I'd like to jump them both. But he's an over the hill soccer player, and she's an ex-singer who never had much talent. Why do they deserve all this attention?

Pathetic..as if we dont see enough of them....thing is you never see a happy family photo...but maybe all this promoting themselves takes their minds off what a shallow existance they must have...
