How many miles per gallon does a 1956 Speedster Porsche get?

This will depend heavily on the specific 356 Speedster in question, and what engine it is outfitted with. Most should run in the mid 20s and as high as 30 MPG, though the 4 Cam Carrera engines will definitely use more fuel. Mileage on these cars too will depend alot on how the carberators are setup and driving habits... while 30 MPG may be possible, most people will probably see something more in the 26-27MPG as the upper end, and an average consumption in the low 20s (at least for the more typical engines).

You would probably see 20-25 miles a gallon with one after a proper tune-up. They use modded VW engines, which gave VWs of the time 20-25 MPG, and these are similar in weight, and more aerodynamic.

note: Thats a PROPERLY TUNED one. one in mediocre running condition will get significantly less.

Probably low 20s mpg.

And it's not a VW engine...it's BASED on a VW engine design but if you take one apart the differences are very apparent. It's not the same case, and the internal quality is vastly superior.
